Avis Safety Glasses is a Custom Web Site using HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, Java Script, Flash and Video.

The web site is used as a product catalog for Avis Safety Glasses which is a division of Global Vision Eyewear.

It has a open side for the general public and a password protected “Dealer Side” for current customers. The password protection is more of a mild deterrent to keep regular customers from discovering our dealer prices rather than a rock solid security plan. This was made plain to me when the owner included the user name and password in the printed version of the catalog.

It has 10 main pages written mainly in HTML with CSS for the formatting. The “What’s New” and the individual product pages are coded with PHP connected to a MySQL database.

There is a JavaScript navigation bar.

The Home page has two Flash images cycling through images of some of the available glasses.

Lastly there is a video that I produced for Global Vision Eyewear. Both Avis Safety Glasses and Global Vision sell the same product that is depicted in the Video.
